EnergySmart is accepting applications for the 2012 Optimization Service.

Optimizing or “recommissioning” heating and cooling equipment every few years can deliver cost-saving improvements, increase comfort for building occupants, and keep equipment running efficiently. Building systems can become less efficient over time and many don’t receive proper calibration when installed. 

The EnergySmart heating and cooling optimization service can help, now at a huge 75% discount. With the EnergySmart incentive, typical out-of-pocket costs are less than $1,250 and simple payback is 1-2 years.  In order to receive the EnergySmart incentive, the optimization service must be performed by an EnergySmart-approved mechanical contractor.  EnergySmart will work with applicants to select a mechanical contractor.
