Ambra Sutherlin

Fun Fact Ambra has travelled to 17 countries and volunteered in Peru building composting toilets and doing hands on construction.

Ambra Sutherlin has 14 years of experience in Commercial Architecture/Design and Green Building. She is a LEED AP BD+C and has managed Commercial LEED projects. She recently completed a certificate in Sustainability Management at Colorado University Boulder and interned at the City of Boulder for the Environmental Action Division.

As an Energy Advisor, Ambra is dedicated to helping local businesses to reduce costs, improve efficiency, and create better working environments, while also educating businesses on the larger energy goals for Boulder County.

Anna Perks

Name Anna Perks
Hometown Byron, Illinois
Fun Fact Anna was her high school mascot, a “Byron Tiger,” and known for her pogo sticking skills in the uniform.

Anna Perks holds a BA in political science with a concentration in environmental development from Colorado College. Before Boulder County, she worked for Eco-Cycle as a zero waste event coordinator and field organizer. Anna also worked abroad for the U.S. Peace Corps as an environmental conservation volunteer, implementing municipal, school, and business zero waste programs.

She is energized to connect with Boulder businesses and help them improve their sustainability performance.

Collin Tomb

Name Collin Tomb
Hometown Salt Lake City, UT
Fun Fact Collin was once a Mexican Folk Dancer and plays banjo.

Collin Tomb worked for five years in Boulder green architecture firms before coming to Boulder County to pursue her interest in lowering barriers to energy efficiency in small- and medium-size businesses. 

She enjoys working one-on-one with business owners, and taking this experience to the County's energy efficiency goals. She is most interested in gathering real-world examples of communities that are reaching their sustainability goals.

Elizabeth Montalbano

Name Elizabeth Montalbano
Hometown Oklahoma City, OK 
Fun Fact Elizabeth moved to Vail, CO from Oklahoma in 2006 on a whim. The mountains were the inspiration behind her desire to pursue an environmental education and a career in sustainability.

ELIZABETH MONTALBANO came to Boulder County after working with sustainability focused non-profits in the Vail Valley and Denver. She completed the Environmental Policy and Management graduate program at the University of Denver with a concentration in Environmental Management and a certificate of advanced study in Energy and Sustainability.

Elizabeth is excited to have the opportunity to assist Boulder County businesses with reducing the amount of waste sent to the landfill. 

Matt Hannon

Name Matt Hannon
Hometown New Canaan, CT
Fun Fact Matt worked on sustainability issues in the Amazon Rainforest while attending college.

Matt Hannon holds a BA from the University of Vermont and an MS from the University of Montana. Prior to joining Boulder County, Matt worked for the Solar Energy Industries Association in Washington D.C. and conducted a year-long sustainability assessment on a business in Montana.

He’s excited to help businesses in Boulder County improve their bottom line by cutting down on waste and other unnecessary expenses.

Sarah Linke

Hometown Springfield, MO
Fun Fact Sarah enjoys cooking, gardening and spending time with her Beagle pup Molly.

SARAH LINKE previously worked as a contractor to the U.S. Department of Energy monitoring energy efficiency grants for the weatherization of low income housing. She recently completed her MS in Environmental Policy and Management with an emphasis on Energy and Sustainability from the University of Denver.

Sarah is excited to be a part of the Boulder County team and she looks forward to developing sustainability initiatives within the Boulder County business community.

Witt Harlin

Name Witt Harlin
Hometown Marietta, GA
Fun Fact Witt played midfield on the University of Colorado Men’s Lacrosse team for 4 years and can solve a Rubik’s Cube in under 5 minutes.

Witt Harlin holds a degree in Environmental Studies from the University of Colorado, Boulder. He comes to Partners for a Clean Environment after nearly two years as the Water Conservation Technician for the Boulder-based non-profit Center for ReSource Conservation (CRC). Prior to his work with CRC, Witt interned with Natural Capital Solutions, a sustainability consultancy firm located in Longmont, CO.

Zach Swank

Hometown Dewittville, NY 
Fun Fact Zach started formal employment at age 11 as a newsy, singing songs on the street corner to sell newspapers.

ZACH SWANK came to Boulder County after overseeing the operations of the sustainability focused eGo CarShare for several years. As operations manager, he ran the day-to-day operations, achieved a 25% fleet expansion, added a new revenue stream, led a major pricing overhaul, and improved internal management. Previously, Zach helped corporate clients establish sustainability initiatives at Natural Capitalism Solutions. Zach first saw the power that businesses have to solve social and environmental problems as a Peace Corps Volunteer helping three local entrepreneurs build an eco-tourism lodge. He knew then that he would spend his career enabling businesses to achieve their maximum positive impact.
