Boulder County, Colo. – Residents in all Boulder County communities are now eligible for a $30 discount on a home energy assessment or SmartRegs inspection, bringing the $120 cost for these services down to $90 for residents or owners of single-family and/or multi-family properties, including rental property owners in the City of Boulder pursuing SmartRegs compliance.
Additionally, residents in Boulder County wishing to learn more can now enroll for a free phone-only consultation. The free phone-only service will allow residents to ask questions and get advice based on similar homes.
EnergySmart focuses on improvements that will reduce energy waste, improve comfort, and produce cost-savings for both residential and business participants. Services include energy assessments and expert advisor assistance with finding contractors and all available rebates and financing options for energy efficiency upgrades. EnergySmart services are also available and customized to assist rental property owners and managers in the City of Boulder navigate their way to SmartRegs compliance.
Since the program's launch in January 2011, EnergySmart has helped more than 6,800 residents and 2,200 businesses throughout Boulder County. The overall goal of the program is to enroll 10,000 homes and 3,000 businesses by June 1, 2013.
